Cultural, intercultural and socio-educational relations in the organizational context: An anthropological view to understanding and adaptation in diversity

Abstract

This document contains the results of a research whose aim was oriented to identify the cultural, intercultural and socio-educational relations, product of interactions that are generated in the organizational context; from understanding and adapting labor diversity in organizations. The research was developed through a case study at a higher education institution [IES] in Bucaramanga Santander, this was done through the paradigm of qualitative research, based on this approach; on the one hand ethnography (observation, semistructured interviews and informal conversations), applied to the selected organization and focus group from the qualitative perspective was handled, to understand the complex social dynamics that occur within the life of the organizations because through this approach can promote systematic process of organizational transformation. They were considered theoretical elements of anthropology from culture and organizations, emphasizing theoretical and Clifford Geertz and Maruyama, from organizations.
