The Complex But longed Change in Accounting Professional
Abstract
The paper presents a set of reflections on the moral and ethical dilemmas faced by accountants and public accounting students in Colombia. The author presents a set of six arguments that attempt to unravel the key to the low social esteem of the accounting profession, the difficulties of teaching and learning and proposes a set of possible solutions to these problems.
