Abstract

This article conducts a comprehensive analysis of business convergence in Latin America, using key financial indicators and a detailed approach at the company, economic sector, and country levels. The aim of the article is to analyze the trends and patterns of business convergence in the region, considering the Return on Assets (ROA), Working Capital and Cash Cycle, using companies listed on the stock indices of Chile, Mexico, Peru, and Colombia, considered as leading companies in their respective economies. Economic convergence has become increasingly relevant in the Latin American context, being an important topic for policymakers, academics, and businesspeople. Through this analysis, the article seeks to understand the economic and business dynamics of the region and contribute to the promotion of economic and business convergence in Latin America.
