Desempeño Financiero y Estructura de capital óptima en las empresas mexicanas cotizadas
Resumen
La forma como una empresa obtiene los recursos necesarios para llevar a cabo su operación, es una decisión que puede resultar de gran trascendencia en el desarrollo de una compañía. El financiarse mayoritariamente con capital propio o hacerlo mediante deuda, puede llegar a tener efectos e implicaciones en el desempeño financiero, por lo tanto, la administración de una empresa debe buscar la mejor estructura de capital posible, maximizando así los resultados financieros obtenidos. En el contexto de este trabajo se revisaron y analizaron los principales conceptos y teorías existentes sobre estructura de capital, posteriormente se llevó a cabo un análisis sobre una muestra de 88 empresas mexicanas cotizadas, determinando la estructura de capital usada y los efectos de dicha estructura en el desempeño financiero, para finalmente realizar algunos aportes teóricos respecto a una estructura óptima de capital.
